As per the survey of 2017, 40,000+ street children in Delhi are involved in begging, rag picking & selling of goods on the roads, and another 30,000+ street children are vulnerable to engage in child begging. Therefore, it’s high time to spread an awareness campaign to stop child begging. #DCPCR (Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights) has collaborated with The VIDYA Foundation and conducted a training session for TVF volunteers. More than 80 volunteers are on the roads of Delhi to secure the future of the children who are engaged in begging. A small effort can save a million lives.
