Gaurav 2024: A Celebration of Achievement and Inspiration
Venue: Delhi Karnataka Sangh, RK Puram, Delhi
Date: 25 August, 2024

We are glad to announce the successful conclusion of Gaurav 2024, where 430 students from the SAMPURN Centers in the slums were honored for passing their 10th and 12th board exams with outstanding results. The VIDYA Foundation extends our best wishes to these bright minds as they step into the future.

Gaurav 2024 was a testament to the incredible transformative stories of many boys and girls who were once students at TVF. Today, they are thriving in prestigious roles within embassies and multinational companies in Delhi/NCR. These individuals have now come full circle, mentoring students who are walking the same path they once did.

The event featured the powerful drama “Sapno ki Udaan” by Rahul Parcha & his team of TVF students, illustrating the importance of giving back to the communities that shaped them. The performance was a poignant reminder that no one can truly understand the struggles of others unless they have walked in their shoes.

Mehak & her team of TVF students delivered a thought-provoking choreography that shed light on the harsh realities of society, including issues of molestation and rape. Their performance was a call to action, urging everyone to speak up for their rights. The event also included a graceful dance performance by Sunindita and her team, adding to the evening’s inspiration.

We were honored to have renowned social worker and Jt. Vice Chairperson of The Shri Ram Schools, as well as Founder of KARM Fellowship for Young Indian Women, Radhika Bharat Ram, grace the event. Her motivational speech, “Life is not a sprint, it’s a marathon,” deeply resonated with the students, inspiring them to pursue their dreams with perseverance.

We were also privileged to welcome Shri Amitav Virmani, Founder & CEO of The Education Alliance. His speech encouraged everyone to strive for continuous improvement and become better versions of themselves each day.

For the first time, we had the honor of hosting Shri Harsh Malhotra, Minister of State in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. His presence was a source of inspiration, encouraging students to realize their potential, work hard, and chase their dreams.

We were also fortunate to welcome Ms. Bansuri Swaraj, Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha. She inspired us all to focus on our efforts rather than the outcomes and encouraged students to consider a career in politics.

Our heartfelt thanks go to Shri Anil Sharma for his unwavering love and support for students from underprivileged communities. His motivational words uplifted the spirits of all present, instilling a sense of determination and forward-thinking.

We extend our gratitude to Shri Abhay Jain, other esteemed guests, teachers, volunteers, and students for making this felicitation program a grand success. We remain committed to expanding Project SAMPURN across Delhi and India in the coming days.

Thank you for your continued support!
